There are different types of surgery methods depending upon the shape of the nose. there are also diverse surgical methods and many different kinds of materials that may be used for each kind of nose shape. For this reason, we encourage you too consult with the doctor on which type of surgery is best likely to fit your nose.   In this case, the lengthening of the nose is needed. Most often used materials are silicon and gore-tex. It is also possible to transplant your own skin, fat, or bone into the nose. However, many prefer to use substitute materials because transplanting your own tissues leaves scars to the body and is not superior to the substitute materials. Different types of nose shapes can be achieved depending on the clients' preference.   For the correction of the blunt nose, the nose tip cartilage plastic surgery and the open nose plastic surgery has the best results. In the nose tip cartilage surgery, the surgeon removes the blunt part of the nose tip or gathers together the wing cartilages of the nose, making the nose tip much slender and favorable. In the open nose plastic surgery, the surgeon cuts a small opening in between the two nostrils and then lifts the skin from the cartilage. This makes the cartilage visible to the naked nose allowing for a more precise and accurate correction of the nose shape.   Nose bone reduction surgery If the nostrils are wide because of wide bones, this surgery is used to cut the two sides of the nose bone resulting in smaller opening of the nostrils. Aalar base reduction surgery. If the nose cheek is too wide, this surgery removes the lower part of the nose cheek or ties together the lower part of the nose cheek.   If the nose is short, the end tip of the nose rises making an upturned nose. There are different surgical methods depending upon the degree of shortness of the nose. If the nose is only a little short, gore-tex or silicon may be used to make the nose tip more pointed. If the nose is short to a large degree, the nose may be lengthened by separating the nose tip cartilage and adding it to the tip of the nose while transplanting cartilage into the middle part of the nose thereby making the nose longer.   The hump nose is when the middle part of the nose sticks out. If the degree of projection is not too great, trimming or raising the end part of the nose is the main type of surgery used. However, if the projection is too great, the cutting of the middle nose cartilage may be performed during surgery.   When the tip of the nose is too long and looks like an arrow. Surgery involves cutting the cartilage of the nose tip or moving the cartilage to the upper part of the nose.   Cases when the nose has been fractured or bent. If the degree of the bend is not severe, inserting silicon or gore-tex may alter the shape of the nose. However, if the degree of the bend is relatively great, then the cutting and trimming of the nose tip is inevitable in order to create a straighter nose.
